He graduated from Clarkstown North High School in the class of 1977, and was class president. He met his wife Terri at the age of 20, and they married on September 17, 1983. He graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas College with a Bachelor's degree in Finance. Artie was a born leader who demonstrated his leadership skills both through his work and his volunteer activities. He was Vice President of the Human Resources department at Russell Stanley. He was a lifelong coach of sports, and most recently, he coached the West Nyack Little League and the Clarkstown Stars, and was President of Clarkstown Baseball Association. Artie was a Jets season ticket holder and an avid Yankee and Rangers fan. Artie was also the Commissioner and founder of the Rockland County Fantasy Football League. Artie is survived by his wife Terri and his children Artie III, and Anthony. Also surviving are his brothers Michael and Matthew. Artie had many accomplishments in his life, but his proudest accomplishments were his sons. Artie's impact on all those around him cannot be measured. In short, he made a difference in the lives of all of us lucky enough to know him.

ARTIE'S CREED: “If you think you are beaten, you've lost. If you think you can't, you won't. If you think you'll lose, you've lost. Success begins with a state of mind. Winning is believing you can, and never giving up. Trust in God and always think, I CAN.”
